N.B.Clements Jr. High School

On Thursday, October 23, author p.m.terrell spoke at N.B.Clements Jr. High School about Crime Solvers, writing, the story behind her debut suspense/thriller Kickback, and great inventions for writers.

Detective Chris Davis from Prince George Police Department and the coordinator for Hopewell-Prince George Crime Solvers joined Ms. Terrell in speaking about unsolved crimes in the county. Crime Solvers pays up to $1,000 for information- callers remain anonymous and never have to testify in court.

There were many great questions asked by aspiring authors. In all, approximately 160 8th graders participated, along with their teachers and several staff members at Clements Jr. High.

Many thanks to the school staff, especially Sharon Edmiston for facilitating everything! It was great fun for Ms. Terrell, who expects to hear someday that one of Clements Jr. High School's students has become a famous author!
