On April 17, p.m.terrell appeared at a private signing for a Media Banquet sponsored by the Petersburg-Dinwiddie Crime Solvers and Hopewell-Prince George Crime Solvers. The author donated 40% of the proceeds from the sale of all books to Crime Solvers.

p.m.terrell was also awarded the 2002 Service Award by Detective Chris Davis of the Prince George Police Department (shown at the podium, left) and coordinator for the Hopewell-Prince George Crime Solvers. The award was presented in recognition of the work Ms. Terrell has performed for Crime Solvers in establishing a website that lists the area's most wanted criminals, missing children, and highlighting unsolved crimes.
